Indian Women in International Arbitration

About IWIA

In March 2023, I founded Indian Women in International Arbitration, an organization dedicated to empowering and promoting women in the field of international arbitration. IWIA is rapidly growing into a global community of over 650 Indian women practitioners and allies—spanning across law firms, corporations, international organizations, and academia—united by a shared interest in international arbitration and dispute resolution.. IWIA provides a platform for Indian women practitioners to connect with each other, share knowledge and resources, and support each other in their professional development.

As the founder, I actively lead several key initiatives, including organizing high-impact events, curating mentorship programs, and overseeing the management of IWIA's newsletter, blog, and social media presence. Through these efforts, we aim to raise visibility, advocate for gender and racial diversity, and create opportunities for Indian women practitioners to make a meaningful impact on the global stage of international arbitration.

IWIA's commitment extends beyond its immediate community, as we work to engage with practitioners, organizations, and institutions across the international arbitration field to catalyze positive change and create pathways for a more inclusive future.

If you are interested in learning more about IWIA or becoming part of this vibrant community, I encourage you to consider joining us, following our LinkedIn page, or reaching out directly by email. Together, we can continue to build a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive future for international arbitration.
